Reapplying to the Wharton MBA Program? Call for Feedback!

Applicants to the Wharton MBA Program for Fall 2004 or 2005 entry who were denied admission and plan to re-apply may contact the school to receive feedback on their application. (Sessions are limited and offered on a first come, first served basis. Please do not sign up for a session unless you plan to re-apply. We would hate to prevent serious reapplicants from having this opportunity!) Feedback sessions last 15 minutes and are conducted by an Admissions Committee member.

During the session, the results of the Admissions Committee's evaluation of an application are reviewed, including academic profile, extra-curricular activities and/or community service, professional development (e.g., leadership, management), and essays (e.g., ability to clearly articulate ideas, career goals, why an MBA, why Wharton). Other topics specific to a particular candidate may also be presented. Such topics could include application timing (is now the best time to pursue an MBA) or the "fit" of the Wharton program with an individual's personal and professional interests. The last few minutes of the feedback session are reserved for applicant questions.

No preparation is necessary for feedback sessions. The appointments are designed to provide insight into our evaluation methods and support the transparency of our admissions process. We find that re-applicants who have received feedback generally fare well in the admissions process and are admitted at a higher rate than first-time applicants. This higher rate is not by design, but because re-applicants have frequently taken steps to enhance their candidacy.

Interested and qualify for feedback? Call our office at 01.215.898.6183 to schedule a session.
