Students who come to Wharton quickly realize they have joined a family, a network of 80,000+ alumni who will serve as friends and colleagues throughout their lifetimes. The Wharton Club of New York illustrates the power of this network.
Currently, the New York club hosts five affinity groups that offer a great way to network with other professionals in one’s own industry and attend events centered around shared professional interests. These current groups include:

Alumni Events Focus on Industry/Affinity GroupsAlumni gatherings, traditionally based on geographic locale, are increasingly organized around shared interests or affinity groups. This month, Wharton hosts a series of alumni and student-run conferences, many of them designed to attract alumni, members of the Wharton community, and the public based on shared industry/affinity interests. One example is today’s Aerospace Conference, which has attracted approximately 160 people. Other February conferences include:

Students' idea gets $4 mill Occasionally we will feature alumni that we hope will offer insight into the breadth of opportunities provided by an MBA degree.
